Bad Disney: Lion King Subliminal Messages
Welcome to this short article outlining the recently discovered Lion King subliminal messages. We are going to discuss the mass placement of subliminal messages within the popular Disney movie – the Lion King.
The best example is from the scene aprox half way through the movie where the stars in the sky start to swirl and form an outline of Simba’s father. During this formation the stars briefly align to form the word “Sex” in the night sky.
The official Walt Disney response was to completely deny the use of subliminal placement within the Lion King. As always (you better believe that this isn’t the first time Disney have used subliminal messages!) Disney claim it was not done on purpose, that it was just coincidental.
You might be inclined to believe that if it wasn’t for the 100s of other disney subliminal messages across their range of animations, and movies.
The sky “Sex” message is the only message which the mainstream media is aware of. If you really break the movie down there are a lot of other uses of the word “sex”.
They are spelled out in leaves in the jungle, in the grass , and by rocks on the cliffs – once you start looking you see these suggestions everywhere.
It all starts to feel more realistic that Disney could be using subliminals in their movies due to the sheer number of “coincidences” you can spot… after a while it stops being a coincidence. What we can’t answer however, is why? 
It could well be just for amusement / a way to make their mark on the movie, or maybe a ploy to try to get people to remember the movie better.
Sadly many of these messages have been edited out for newer DVD re-releases, so you can only see them on the original VHS editions – get yours out and watch closely and let us know if you find any more
